This clock was released in 1970 and can be considered a pioneer of personal clocks. At the time, wall clocks were all overly decorated and large, but its groundbreaking design led to increased demand for it as a gift. While retaining the original feel of the size, relief lettering, and hand stopper, the design was revised and a new mold was created, and it was re-produced as a Watanabe Riki model.
