This clock can be considered a masterpiece by Watanabe Riki, a pioneer of Japanese design. The plywood frame was made by a woodworker who has long specialized in making musical instruments such as tambourines and drums, and his skilled techniques have resulted in a precise and beautiful circular shape despite the handiwork.
