Brand: RICHARD LAMPERT
Screen
This screen was designed by Eiermann for the entrance hall and meeting room of the Reichstag building in Bonn, the capital of West Germany at the time. It is said to be based on the motif of the "byobu" folding screen, which has been used since ancient times in Japan as a partition. The regularly-spaced round holes on the screen are a pattern design that is also characteristic of Eiermann's architecture. The frame is made of Douglas fir, which gives it strength and beautiful wood grain, while the white panel is made of MDF, which gives it a clean and light feel. This is Eiermann's masterpiece, which was commercialized at the Cologne Furniture Fair in 2010. The parts that come into contact with the floor are covered with felt to prevent the floor from being scratched. The hinges that secure the frames are embedded in the frames so as not to spoil the design, and this product was designed with great attention to detail. Source: https://flymee.jp/
