It is a relaxing chair that seems to embody the Japanese way of life. The low seat and spoke (thin rod) backrest create an open space. The large oval seat gives you a sense of security as if you are sitting on a tatami mat. You can sit cross-legged or with your legs stretched out, so there are no restrictions on the sitting position. It is also known as the "Agura Chair". The legs are rounded to prevent scratches even when placed on a tatami mat. The back of the seat is made by "endless molding". It is an advanced technique unique to Tendo Mokko, which allows for seamless oval molding with skilled techniques.
