HAKO outer box

"HAKO", a free rack that allows you to rearrange each independent box freely, won the Maple Leaf Award at the 2011 design competition of the International Furniture Design Fair Asahikawa (IFDA). The outer box has no base, so it can be installed either vertically or horizontally. The inner boxes can be freely arranged according to the size and purpose. You can enjoy rearranging the inner boxes vertically or horizontally to suit the space, scene, and purpose. The largest rack (size 1) is installed vertically in the usage image, and is just the right size to be used as a partition when laid horizontally. The long and narrow type (size 3) used as a TV board can be used vertically to become a slim rack that fits into a small dead space. The outer box is available in two colors: cherry and ink. The edges are chamfered to give it a clean and sophisticated impression. The International Furniture Design Fair Asahikawa has been held every three years since 1990 with the aim of proposing and promoting new lifestyles and cultures.
