Like Joe Colombo's masterpiece "Spider," this lamp is made up of minimal decoration and only the elements necessary for lighting. The knob at the base of the shade allows you to adjust the angle, height, and direction of the light source. This is a minimalist work of art that succinctly expresses the fusion of function and design. It won the International Design Award in 1968 and is part of MoMA's permanent collection.
