Eames Special Collection 2023 Eames Elephant (Plywood)
Vitra and the Eames Office have collaborated to create the Eames Special Collection 2023 in a special color. The colors were inspired by the color palette favored by Charles and Ray Eames, and dyed using the same techniques as at the time, creating a fresh collection that will colorfully decorate your home. The Eames Elephant Plywood is an elephant toy made using plywood molding techniques designed by the Eames couple in 1945. It was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, but was not put into production at the time due to technical difficulties. After a limited production run in 2007, it was added to Vitra's standard products in 2018. The Eames Special Collection 2023 lineup includes a special model in dark green.
