Brand: more trees design
TSUMIKI 7P
A simple triangular "block" incorporating architectural elements. Depending on how you stack them, you can create a variety of interior objects. It was designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma. He says that playing endlessly with blocks as a child was a major trigger for him to aspire to be an architect. The simple triangular form, inspired by the material, cedar (a coniferous tree), is designed to allow air and light to pass through, creating a space that truly combines architectural elements. The "block" is made from unpainted cedar from Morotsuka Village, Miyazaki Prefecture, where the "More Trees Forest" is located. The cedar from Morotsuka Village has been certified by FSC®, which is given to wood produced from forests that are managed in a sustainable manner for the environment, economy, and local community, and the packaging is also given the FSC® mark. The carefully calculated form requires delicate and precise work, so it cannot be manufactured by machine. The "block" is carefully made one by one by craftsmen, and you can feel the warmth of the wood as well as the warmth of the handmade product. Source: https://flymee.jp/
