Vitra and the Eames Office have teamed up to create the Eames Special Collection 2023 in special colors. The colors were inspired by the color palettes favored by Charles and Ray Eames, and dyed using the same techniques as at the time, creating a fresh collection that will add color to your home. In the early 1940s, the couple conducted a series of experiments to improve the technology of three-dimensional molding of molded plywood. Among them, they developed the Eames Plywood Mobile, a two-part mobile made of molded plywood with organic shapes that evoke the artwork and graphic designs of his wife, Ray Eames. The Eames Special Collection 2023 lineup includes a special two-tone model.
