"Resting Animals" is a series of sleeping creatures. It is a ceramic object in the shape of a cat. Watching animals sleeping peacefully gives us a time of peace of mind in our lives. The "Resting Animals" series was born from a research project by the design unit "Front" that focuses on the close connection between humans and objects. In this research, randomly selected people were asked to list the object that enriches their lives the most. Many of the answers were objects in the shape of animals, which have personalities, special affections like friends, and have spent precious time together. Front has previously researched how animals sleep and hibernate, and this has been reflected in their previous works.
