A handmade hanging mini planter made from recycled glass. It was created in collaboration with the UK's Eden Project, a sustainable initiative that aims to coexist with nature. It was inspired by the huge botanical garden in Cornwall, which symbolizes the Eden Project. This sustainable hanging dome-shaped mini planter is made of 100% recyclable recycled glass and won the Green Good Design Award in 2021. Clear glass bottles collected in the area are sorted, crushed and melted. A skilled glass craftsman rolls up the molten glass seeds to shape them, gives them a rough texture on the surface, and then presses them against a wooden mold and blows them into shape. The delicate light green color and fine air bubbles in the glass are proof that it is handmade using 100% recycled resources.
