IN-EI is handmade from a material with a unique appearance and strength, a non-woven fabric (recycled polyester material) made entirely from recycled fibers from PET bottles, with a crinkled finish. When deployed, the shade rotates in a spiral, making the shape three-dimensional, and the characteristics of the material allow the material to stand or hang freely without an internal structure.
