A110 Pendant Light Hand Grenade White
A pendant lamp designed by Alvar Aalto in 1952. Its shape has earned it the nickname "Grenade". The steel body is fitted with a brass ring with holes under the lampshade, which diffuses the light from the holes in the ring like a ring, giving off a soft, warm glow. It was designed for a project by the Finnish Technical Association and was also used in the conference room of Seinäsälo Town Hall, one of Aalto's most famous buildings. Artek pendant lamps have two essential elements. The first is that they are brimming with beauty and presence as objects, like sculptures, whether they are lit or not. The second is that the structure diffuses the light, reducing glare and giving off a soft light. It is precisely because they have these two elements that Artek pendant lamps always envelop the space in a gentle, warm light, like a comfortable evening. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
