RIIHITIE PLANT POT S Type A
Two plant pots sit on the terrace of Aalto's private home on Liechtije Street in Helsinki. Aino Aalto, who had a deep affinity for nature and natural materials, designed these pots for his home. While they garnered attention when exhibited at the 1937 Paris World's Fair, they were not commercialized at the time. Each Liechtije plant pot is handcrafted using materials inspired by the tiles used in Aalto's major architectural works. Their refreshing color is inspired by the ceramic tiles used in Aalto's "Experimental House," a summer home in Muulatsalo, Finland. [Designed in 1937] [Please check before purchasing]: White plant pots may have what appears to be black stains. Other colored plant pots may have thin areas of paint or small dents. This is unavoidable due to the manufacturing process and is considered a good product. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
