ARM CHAIR 42 Paimio Black Lacquer
The Armchair 42, also known as the "Little Paimio Chair," was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1932 for the Paimio Sanatorium, along with the "Paimio 41 Armchair." Its beautiful, flowing, organic curves are created by combining a cantilevered birch frame with a seat and back made from a single piece of flexible plywood. To ensure the chair maintains its balance even as the wood changes over time, the armrests are attached to both ends of a single frame, split in half. [Designed 1931-1932] To protect the environment, some knots or imperfections may be present. While this does not affect product use, please note. This is a made-to-order product, and cancellations are not accepted after an order has been placed. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
