"SIENA" is a textile designed by Alvar Aalto in 1954 for the interiors of his own buildings. The regular pattern is reminiscent of the marble stripes of the Siena Cathedral in Tuscany, Italy. In Aalto's own house in Helsinki, "SIENA" is used as the curtain at the entrance to his study and as a piano cover in the living room. - Due to the manufacturing process, small spots may appear on the surface.
