KIKI SOFA 2-seater Category F140 Hallingdal
Kiki sofa was designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1960. Its simple design and compact size make it easy to use in any space. Creating designs for everyone, not just a select few, was Ilmari Tapiovaara's lifelong goal. The frame is based on oval steel tubes. The story goes that the manufacturer of oval steel tubes approached Tapiovaara to design a product that would make use of the large amount of stock that was left over in the factory. The sofa was awarded a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1960 for its simple, streamlined and sophisticated design. This sofa has a profound, simple design. *Product photos are for illustrative purposes only.
