The triangular hanging part is made using a revolutionary technique at the time: bending birch laminate, a technique also used for the legs of other Aalto products. This beautifully shaped shelf is made using pieces joined together in a ring shape. The shelves and hanging part are assembled and secured to the wall with screws.
