DOMUS CHAIR birch
The Domus Chair, considered a masterpiece of modern furniture design, was designed in 1946 by Ilmari Tapiovaara for the student dormitory "Domus Academica" in Helsinki. The highly acclaimed Domus Chair has come to be nicknamed the "Finn Chair" as a representative chair of Finland. What makes it comfortable is the three-dimensionally curved molded plywood seat and the functional and charming small armrests. The small armrests integrated with the rear legs function properly as armrests while also making it easy to pull the chair towards the table.
