Side Table 606 Black
Nestled in the forests of southwestern Finland, the Paimio Sanatorium is a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto. From the architecture and interior color palette to the custom-developed furniture, every detail is designed to heal the mind and body of patients. In 1932, Aino Aalto designed the "606 Side Table" for the Paimio Sanatorium lobby. Shaped like a crescent full moon, it features a steel tube with a birch plywood top. Originally used as a stool for changing shoes, the table is stackable, but this is not recommended due to the risk of scratches and paint peeling. [1932 Design] - To protect the environment, knots and imperfections may be present on the underside and other hard-to-see areas. This item is made to order, so cancellations are not accepted after your order has been placed. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
