KIKI LOUNGE CHAIR Hallingdal 126
[Normally in stock in Japan] The Kiki sofa was designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1960. Its simple design and compact size make it suitable for any space. Creating designs for everyone, not just the few, was Ilmari Tapiovaara's lifelong goal. The frame is based on oval steel tubes. Apparently, the sofa's creation began when a manufacturer of oval steel tubes approached Tapiovaara asking him to design a product that would utilize the excess inventory in their factory. Its simple, streamlined design won it a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1960. This sofa embodies the profound depth of its simple design. *Product photos are for illustrative purposes only.
