The "Zebra" fabric was designed by Bauhaus weaver and designer Otti Berger. Aino Aalto discovered it during his travels in Europe and incorporated it into Artek products and stores in the 1930s. The 400 Armchair Tank, upholstered in zebra fabric, remains an iconic Artek design today. Zebra combines a striking appearance with a soft, comfortable feel.
