The Forest series, a collection of classic Artek furniture, incorporates the new "Wild Birch" wood standard. The series preserves the natural character of birch, including knots, insect marks, and shades of color. Born from a deep respect for Finnish forests, this series utilizes materials efficiently and rediscovers the inherent beauty found in nature's unevenness and imperfections. In an era of growing awareness of climate change and the environment, this series also seeks to transform the way we approach craftsmanship. Aalto's classic chair, known for its compact size, comfort, and versatility, has also been added to the Forest series. This represents a new approach to sustainability for both public spaces and homes. Each product's L-legs display the unique characteristics of various natural materials, and the backrests feature birch wood with insect marks. [Designed in 1935] Please note that due to environmental conservation measures, knots and scratches may be present. While this does not affect product use, please be aware of this. Assembly is required; an additional assembly fee of ¥3,300 applies. If you require assembly, please indicate "Assembly Required" in the comments/requests section when placing your order.
