The legendary Jacobsen design, produced in 1943 as part of a project with Lauritz Knudsen and first released on the market as a table clock, is called "STATION." While soft, handwritten fonts were the norm in Europe at the time, Jacobsen adopted a font that emphasized legibility over design, in keeping with the philosophy of functional beauty at the German Bauhaus, and created a clock that was simple and suited to any space.
