Wall Clock STATION φ29cm Royal Blue
"STATION ROYAL BLUE" pays tribute to the graphic design by Arne Jacobsen and expresses the vivid blue-green of "606 Arne Jacobsen Suite Room". It is a very rare limited model with no plans for the next production. "STATION" was produced in 1943 as part of a project with Lauritz Knudsen, and was the first Jacobsen design to be released on the market as a table clock. At the time, soft, handwritten fonts were the mainstream in Europe and widely used, but Jacobsen adopted a font that emphasized visibility over design, in line with the philosophy of functional beauty of the German Bauhaus, and released a clock that was the simplest and would fit in any space. This clock design spread throughout Denmark in the blink of an eye after its release. Movement: Made in Japan [Designed in 1941]
