In 1987, Michele De Lucchi designed "Tolomeo" for Artemide with Giancarlo Fassina, and it quickly became a bestseller, forging a collaboration that continues to this day. Inspired by the traditional balanced arm lamp, De Lucchi combined an iconic, "domestic" form with innovative technology and materials, challenging the designer to adapt it to a variety of uses and environments. Today, it is known as a symbol of modern objects, commonly seen in homes, offices, hotels, architects' desks, and on photo and film sets. This light and stylish arm lamp by renowned Italian designer Michele De Lucchi is recommended as a light source for short reading sessions, such as at the bedside.
