IXA Reading Floor Lamp
The Ixa Reading Floor Lamp's magnetically attached fixture allows for flexible illumination direction. A dimmer switch is also located on the fixture, allowing for easy on/off dimming. Artemide and Foster + Partners share a deep approach to sustainable design at every stage of product development. By discarding unnecessary elements and intentionally simplifying, we aim to develop products that are both functionally and productively sustainable. The Ixa is inspired by Alexander Calder's dynamic sculptures, interpreting the idea of "elegant balance" through precision engineering. The simple, classic design of the round fixture, post, and base makes it suitable for a variety of locations, including sofa-side, bedside, and overhead lighting.
