The Color Wood Chair is a new addition to the Color Wood Table family, an iconic part of the Karimoku New Standard collection. The basic concept of making effective use of small diameter Japanese hardwoods is the same as the table, but in creating this chair, Karimoku has taken a step further in woodworking techniques. The seat has a graphical composition that alternates between simplicity and complexity. To create this, small, thin pieces of oak wood are collected and assembled into a shell shape so that the fixed parts are not visible. The Color Wood Chair is a perfect match for the Color Wood Dining Table, which is already available, and is suitable for both home and contract use.
