The VL Ring Crown series originates from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in 1940 for the old Danish Broadcasting Corporation in Copenhagen. The wall lamps and pendants, characterized by their organic shapes, were used in the interior of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. The metalwork is made of unpainted brass and features three lamps with glossy white, three-layered opal-blown glass shades. The light is directed primarily downwards, while the opalescent glass provides a comfortable, even illumination of the surrounding area.
