This pendant lamp is a mid-century masterpiece, designed by architect Vilhelm Wohlert in 1959. Its simple, organic form was requested by Louis Poulsen, who wanted a pendant that could be used in a variety of room sizes and was easy to install, change bulbs and maintain. The triple-layered, blown-glass matte shade diffuses soft light and retains its beautiful appearance even when the light is turned off.
