This pendant lamp is a mid-century classic, designed by architect Vilhelm Wohlert in 1959. Its simple, organic form was commissioned by Louis Poulsen, who wanted a pendant lamp that could be used in rooms of various sizes and was easy to install, change bulbs, and maintain. The triple-layered, blown-glass matte shade diffuses soft light and maintains its beautiful appearance even when the light is off.
