The VL Ring Crown series originates from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in 1940 for the old Danish Broadcasting Corporation in Copenhagen. The wall lamps and pendants, characterized by their organic shapes, were used in the interior of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. The wall lamps direct light primarily downwards, and the opalescent glass provides a comfortable, even glow around the room.
