VLA75 Foyer Bench, oak with oiled finish and leather, sif 90
The Foye Bench was designed for the Radio House in Copenhagen (now the Royal Danish Academy of Music), designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in 1945. Production began in close collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2022. The original was made of teak and beech, but the FSC& certified oak frame was used for the production. The seat is decorated with hand-made buttons, which require time-consuming precision and craftsmanship to upholster. The legs are meticulously hand-polished so that the seams are not noticeable. Although delicate, the core of the design is the comfort of the soft seat. [Designed in 1945] *Please refrain from canceling your order after it has been placed as this is a back-ordered item.
