The CH002 dining table is part of a series of tables introduced by Hans J. Wegner in 1982. This table was created in response to the needs of urban living spaces. The extension boards on both ends allow for flexible use of limited space. By raising and lowering the 49cm-wide extension boards on both ends, the table can be extended to a maximum of 188cm. Because the extension boards are round, the table takes on an oval shape when extended and a square shape when lowered.
