The Y Chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner, is a masterpiece whose wood grain develops a richer texture over time, and the more you use it, the more you'll grow to love it. It's a chair you can use for a lifetime. The walnut used is approximately 150 years old. Please note that the color ranges from light to dark brown. The oil finish protects the wood from changes in humidity and stains. The oil penetrates the wood, creating a wet color that highlights the natural color of the wood.
