The CH22 was the first in a series of chairs designed by Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son in 1950. A faithful reproduction of Wegner's drawings, the CH22 is a low armchair crafted from solid wood. Its distinctive feature is its innovatively shaped arms. The seat is upholstered in paper cord, featuring a diagonal pattern reminiscent of the back of an envelope. These early chairs are characterized by their clear, original form, born from the utmost structural simplification.
