CH71 and CH72 (normal Mini Bear chairs) were designed by Hans J. Wegner in the 1950s. At the time, they were manufactured by AP Stolen, not Carl Hansen. However, due to AP Stolen's closure, the Bear chairs are now being reproduced by PP Møbler. Mini Bear has not been produced since 1970, but in 2018, about 50 years later, it was reproduced by Carl Hansen. The frame is made of walnut, and is characterized by a deep, heavy color that ranges from dark brown to purplish black. Over time, the color gradually becomes lighter and brighter, giving a lighter impression.
