CHUSEN Dyed Hand Towel HANAMICHI
Fujio Ishimoto spent 50 years in Finland, and continued to use tenugui (hand towels) throughout his time abroad. "HANAMICHI" is an unpublished design that Ishimoto developed during his time as a textile designer. Its name evokes the image of a landscape of colorful flowers lined up in rows. The hand-drawn design, with its brushstrokes that seem to convey the artist's movements and breath, exudes a sense of energy and playfulness. It was dyed using the "nassen" method by Kamawanu, a long-established tenugui manufacturer. The highly absorbent fabric makes it convenient to have one on hand for wiping hands and wet items, wrapping things, wrapping around the neck, or even laying on a table. The more you use it, the more comfortable it becomes to the touch and the more comfortable it becomes in your hand. It comes with a Mustakivi and DESIGNED BY FUJIWO ISHIMOTO tag, making it a perfect gift, while still being suitable for everyday use. You can hang it on the separately sold "Tenugui Bar" like a hanging scroll and enjoy it as interior décor. *As it is hand-dyed, there may be some color fading or transfer. *We recommend washing it by hand separately from other items.
