CHUSEN Chusen Tenugui Hand Towel "Friends"
Fujio Ishimoto spent 50 years in Finland, and his beloved tenugui (hand towels) have been a staple of his everyday life ever since. "Nakayoshi" (Friendship) is a monochrome rendering of a carnation drawing he created on a plate in 1994, using a tenugui as a canvas. Dyed by Kamawanu, a long-established tenugui manufacturer, using the traditional "chusen" dyeing method, the vibrant colors are reproduced on both sides. The highly absorbent fabric makes it a convenient addition to your wardrobe, perfect for wiping hands and wet items, wrapping items, wrapping around your neck, or even laying on a table. The more you use it, the more comfortable it becomes to your touch and the more comfortable it becomes. The tag "Mustakivi" and "DESIGNED BY FUJIWO ISHIMOTO" are attached, making it a perfect gift, while still being suitable for everyday use. You can also hang it on the separately sold "tenugui bar" like a hanging scroll or use it as interior décor. *As this item is hand-dyed, there may be slight color fading or transfer. *We recommend washing separately from other items.
