Hand-tufted (a technique in which pile is inserted and planted by hand) the rugs faithfully and precisely recreate the designer's sketches. While the design may seem chaotic at first glance, a closer look reveals turtles, lips, hands, stools, and fish, allowing you to enjoy the world of designer Jaime Hayon's imagination. Winner of the "Best Flooring: Residential" award at the NYC x Design Award 2017. The backing of the rug is made with latex (a type of synthetic rubber), which tends to discolor, harden, and deteriorate with heat. Therefore, heating the backing with underfloor heating may harden the backing and damage the rug. If using underfloor heating, please use cushioning material between the rug and the floor.
