"IC Lights" are milky-white glass spheres arranged to appear to roll on thin rods. Michael Anastassiades was inspired by a short film by contact juggler Tony Duncan to design the piece. The name "IC" comes from the identification code used by the UK immigration service to classify immigrants. The design, which maintains an exquisite balance like a sphere that does not roll off the slope, represents Anastassiades' own unique balance as a foreigner and the precarious equilibrium of his identity. The brightness can be adjusted using the dimmer lever. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
