The "Super Ellipse Table" was designed by Piet Hein and Bruno Matson. When mathematician and philosopher Piet Hein designed the outer road of Sergey Torg in Stockholm, he calculated a "super ellipse" to allow cars to turn corners smoothly. The tabletop was inspired by this. The legs are spun legs designed by Swedish master Bruno Matson. The collaboration between these two men resulted in this timeless masterpiece.
