GamFratesi's inspiration for the Suspense lamp was to express movement in a physical form. The shape of this lamp represents the fundamental action of physical force: pulling. The upward tension can be seen in the shape of the tip of the upper part of the shade. Suspense is a lamp with an organic shape, made up of natural curves. A diffuser attached to the shade concentrates the light, reduces glare, and creates an elegant optical illusion.
