GamFratesi's inspiration for the Suspense lamp was to express movement in a physical form. The shape of this lamp represents the fundamental action of physical force: pulling. The upward tension can be seen in the shape of the tip of the upper shade. Suspense is an organically shaped lamp with natural curves.
