The seat is made of nine thin layers of laminated plywood, with a beautiful wood-grained finish on the outside, and the horizontal and vertical grains are combined to achieve optimal strength. The result is a chair with excellent lightness and strength, which are characteristics of the Seven Chair. Its light appearance, supported by thin 14mm steel pipes, has earned it the nickname of the butterfly chair. It has a lacquer finish that hides the wood grain. It is a product of FRITZ HANSEN, a Danish company. [Designed in 1955] Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
