The Ant Chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, is a chair with a delicate and artistic appearance, with curves reminiscent of a musical instrument. The molded plywood shell, consisting of nine layers (eight layers for the Deco Silhouette), combines its elegant form with surprising strength and comfort. It has a colored ash finish that allows the wood grain to be seen.
