PK22 Grace Leather Black
Paul Kjærholm was deeply influenced by the master of modern architecture, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. PK22 was designed to surpass Rohe's masterpiece, the Barcelona Chair. Four pieces of steel are joined on two parallel surfaces by a double crossbeam beneath the seat. Unlike the PK25, the chair allows for rest without a rigid edge at the front of the seat. The convex curve of the seat and concave curve of the back became a common theme in Kjærholm's work. Its minimalist, functional aesthetic won it the Grand Prix at the 1957 Milan Triennale. It is considered a timeless masterpiece. Grace leather is one of Fritz Hansen's most beautiful leathers, crafted from the finest rawhides. Its unique pattern, soft texture, and exceptional appearance are distinctive. The untreated, natural surface varies in color and develops a beautiful natural patina over time. Not only is this full-grain (aniline) leather breathable, it also offers excellent comfort, adding a timeless touch of luxury to your furniture design. It is a product of FRITZ HANSEN, Denmark.
