For many years, the PK8 existed only as a prototype in the home of Hanna Kjærholm, Poul Kjærholm's wife, before being commercialized in 2006. It skillfully combines metal and leather, Poul Kjærholm's preferred materials, with a high-quality leather seat covering for superior comfort. The curved seat and moderately firm cushioning provide comfortable seating even for extended periods. The legs are also designed to be gentle on floors and scratch-resistant. This product is manufactured by FRITZ HANSEN, a Danish company. Regarding leather: Each piece is unique, with wrinkles, scratches, and textures characteristic of natural materials.
