The PK9's unique curves have earned it the nickname "Tulip Chair." Its shell shape is said to have been inspired by the imprints left by Kjærholm's wife, Hanna, in the sand on the beach. During the design process, Hanna sat on a square pile of clay to create a mold, pursuing the most comfortable seating shape. This product is made by FRITZ HANSEN, a Danish company. Regarding the leather: Each piece is unique, with wrinkles and scratches typical of natural materials, and the texture may vary.
