Poul Kjærholm designed the "PK25" as his graduation project at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. Also known as the "Element Chair," it is made by drilling holes for sawing into 12mm steel plates, cutting out the frame, and then bending it with a press to form the legs, seat, and backrest. The flag hailer (a strong rope used to hang flags on yachts) was inspired by the "Halyard Chair" designed by Hans J. Wegner, Kjærholm's mentor at art school. The chair is manufactured by the Danish company FRITZ HANSEN. [Designed in 1951] Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
